Iker-Lecuona-KTM-2021-MotoGP-launch
While the team of Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira will remain in Red Bull KTM Factory livery, the satellite Tech 3 KTM Factory Racing team with Danilo Petrucci and Iker Lecuona carries no title sponsor at all. Danilo Petrucci, who is a two times GP winner and who has been on the Ducati Lenovo Team for a long time, plus Iker Lecouna, who is entering his second season and is no rookie anymore. Clearly, Tech 3 KTM's expectations are very high for these two guys.
2020 proved a challenging year on-track for Petrucci as he failed to find the speed to consistently challenge for the top places but he did have his moment also, securing victory in the rain in Le Mans, securing his second premier class victory. That was as good as it got though as he had to settle for 12th in the Championship. He will hope 2021 will bring renewed fortunes, as he joins up with Red Bull KTM Tech 3.
2020 saw Iker become a full-time Tech 3 rider and he impressed without sparkling in his rookie year, securing three Top 10 finishes. More will be expected of him in 2021, his sophomore year.
